My father died a little over two weeks ago, after about a month of being in the hospital with various health problems, including strokes, COVID, pnemonia, and organ failure. With this and everything that's been going on with my family and me, I've been in a terrible reading slump recently.
That being said, I read the first chapter of this book and with the author's beautiful writing style, I can see easily getting lost in its pages, in a good way. This author is new to me, however I've been wanting to read her books for some time, many of which my friends have read, liked, and recommended. I will update this post with more in depth thoughts as soon as I'm able to read Crosshairs in its entirety.
